These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Site, operated by EyePlastics, LLC (“EyePlastics,” “we,” “us”). We may update these terms at any time; your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Not Medical Advice; No Physician-Patient Relationship
The Site provides general educational information about oculoplastic surgery and a directory of physicians. It does notprovide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using the Site — including contacting a physician through it or submitting an appointment request — does not create a physician-patient relationship. 3. Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to: scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content or physician data; interfere with or disrupt the Site; misrepresent your identity; upload malicious code; or use the Site to send unsolicited communications. Automated access is permitted only as allowed by our robots.txt.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — text, illustrations, animations, photographs, logos, and design — is owned by EyePlastics, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except for brief, attributed quotation. Physician practices may use materials provided to them by EyePlastics solely for their own practice websites as arranged.
5. Directory Listings & Sponsors
Physician listings are provided for informational purposes. EyePlastics does not employ listed physicians, does not guarantee their availability, credentials, or outcomes, and is not responsible for the care they provide. References to sponsors, products, or third parties do not constitute endorsement. Verify any physician's credentials and licensure independently before seeking care.
6. Submissions
Appointment-request forms and other submissions are routed to the relevant practice. Do not submit urgent medical issues or sensitive health information through the Site; these forms are not a secure or monitored channel for medical care. By submitting, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it, and you grant EyePlastics a limited license to process it to respond to your inquiry.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EyePlastics is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. 8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EyePlastics, LLC and its members, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the Site or these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mobile County, Alabama, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
